Guest guest
ONS Dianna, The 'negativity' you refer to, is not in this email. It is in the reader's mind. I've seen the 'yogic flying' on the discovery channel. It is not like you dont need an airplane again. Its more on the lines of making the mind light and doing little hops while squatting. It is funny to look at first, but so many people on the program testified that it was indeed a 'flying' experience. There's got to be something to it! Ammachi herself conducts poojas for the good of the world and to promote peace. She also emphasizes the 'seva' aspect more than meditation (Is that an incorrect statement?). The intent of posting this news article was to just present a different point of view, given the discussion on war. The spiritual force field referred to here may indeed be necessary to stop violence, war, etc. Though, I do not know if the method suggested in this article has what it takes to do it. I was hoping someone had some thoughts/insights into it. Forming human chains in Berkeley/LA and candle light vigils elsewhere are all good, but how much of an impact does it make to the global psyche? And to the psyche of those who have the power to affect other people's lives? Ammachi cleans our minds one at a time, just like a filter cleans the water at the banks of a river. It is a slow process for many of us because of our inherent vasanas (tendencies). Unfortunately, neither GWB nor Saddam Hussain has had darshan in order to initiate the cleaning process. Like she said, 9/11 happened because of one man's ego/selfishness...
