The bid for money is besides the point, but even we on this group could do a collective meditation towards this end if the group sangha here felt inspired or willing to do so. So if people are interested, perhaps we could set up a time once a week (or day, or whatever) where a group meditation could be done towards this end...a sort of collective and benevolent force, if you will. Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya Lisa, The group meditation sounds like a plan. If we all were to set a time as well as the object of meditation and focus on it, Im sure Ammachi will hear it since it would have a great intensity. My feeling is, as long as we decide on a common "objective" it would do good. Various people in different countries focussing on different things may not have the same effect, since the 'higher power' that listens to us may think these people ask for different things! We talked about $1 billion, $40 million... , how about $0 million. Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya Ravi, Well, all I can say is that I will be meditating most of the day, tomorrow, Sunday, and anyone who wants to join in can (at this point). Any sort of collective meditation could only help, I'm sure. In San Ramon recently, Amma had mentioned in a Q and A session that because people were doing things such as meditation, selfless service and other spiritual practices, this had kept dharmic balance in the world, and it is only because of this that we haven't had a third world war, though we have had isolated wars and conflicts. I also know that Shree Maa has encouraged people to pray a lot now, and that our prayers are very powerful and really are what can help in times like these. So if anyone is interested in meditating for peace, why not join me tomorrow. And if anyone else has any ideas, let's hear them. Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya Im not really a meditator per se..and Im sure I have some company out here! How about just saying "Om Lokah Samastaha Sukino Bhavantu" a 108 times followed by "Om Shri Gurubyo Namah" once. Anyone wants to find out a good common start time for all of us across the world? Any other (better) ideas, please post!
