Guest guest
Om Lokaha Samastaha Sukino Bhavantu: Wow. I just thought of saying it a 108 times, but I wasn't aware that it was actually Ammachi's recommended practice! Alongwith the brave astronauts who are irreplaceable, I also weep for Columbia. I grew up watching her and discover/endeavor take off and land and collected pictures for my scrapbook. I hoped to personally see her launch some day.. [We all get attached to inanimate objects too, isnt it?] Someone talked about Ammachi's words regarding a flight crash. She said, a pilot can only use his knowledge to steer the plane, but it is grace alone that gets the plane successfully from point a to b. How true, especially since this shuttle finished the bulk of its journey and was only 39 miles from the surface. Innumerable innocents die in various parts of the world every day. None of that ever makes the headlines. But I guess the little shuttle and its crew carried with it the hopes and aspirations of all humankind. Anyone heard Ammachi's reaction to this? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that on the eve of 2000, Amma repeating this in a very deep state of meditation without mala 108 times. > Alongwith the brave astronauts who are irreplaceable, I also weep for > Columbia.
