Guest guest Posted April 27, 2003 Report Share Posted April 27, 2003 CANCELLATION AUSTRALIAN TOUR Sat, 26 Apr 2003 17:48:56 +1000 Om Namah Shivaya Dear Brothers and Sisters This afternoon Swamini Krisnaamrita Prana and Swami Ramakrishnanada phoned from Amritapuri to advise that due to the concerns about the SARS virus, international travel concerns, possible quarantine both on arrival in Australia and on return to India that Amma had reluctantly decided to cancel the Australian Tour 2003. Swamini said that Amma felt very upset about having to cancel but hoped that Her devotees would understand. Amma knows all the hard work that has gone into organizing the tour and knows also how much Her devotees were looking forward to spending time with Amma. Swamini said that Amma is always with Her Children. On behalf of MA Centre (Aust) Foundation we thank everyone who has done so much work toward organizing the tour. Over the next weeks we will work on doing all that is necessary to cancel the tour including returning funds paid for retreat registrations. A special greeting to all our international friends and to those who were planning to come we hope all is well and that we see each other soon in Amma's presence.
