For those in the U.S. who want to participate, that 10 a.m. time coincides with: * 9:30 p.m. Pacific Time (DST) this Tuesday, 5/6/03 * 12:30 a.m. Eastern Time (DST) on Wednesday, 5/7/03 (rather late for those on the East Coast, but doable for those who really want to participate) His Holiness the Dalai Lama will be teaching at that time to thousands of Buddhists, and may be joining us in prayer. At the time His Holiness will be teaching in Tawang in the north-eastern Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh that is to be attended by thousands of Buddhists from around the world but mainly from the Indian sub-continent and Tibetan refugees living in this remote part of India. According to Mrs. Baillieu, millions of peace lovers around the world are expected to take part in this noble effort.
