I am wondering if there are any devotees in the Connecticut area who may be interested in carpooling to Satsangs and other events in Massachusetts. I am also wondering if devotees in the Connecticut area would be interested in starting a Mother's Kitchen project in our area. Guest guest Posted May 6, 2003 Report Share Posted May 6, 2003 Namaste! I live in Milford, CT. I thought there was a Satsang group up in Salem,CT. Not sure if that is close to you. I remember I was invited to come 2 years ago but we were in the middle of a move at the time. Hopefully that person is still on the list and contacts you. I love the idea of starting a Mother's Kitchen. If it gets started let me know or if you need help. I am a homeschool mom of 5 children and my kids would love to help. We have joined several volunteer groups locally but find they are not much interested in helping others as much as they are having parties to celebrate they are a volunteer group. I don't think working at a shelter twice a year warrents 2 parties a month but hey what do I know. *L* My children and I would also be interested in getting together with others who are interested in a Green Friends group. We have been growing a few little trees to plant that we gathered from seeds. So they are very tiny at the moment. I have a mini forest on my deck. *L* Avinash and Chris I am sorry I have not gotten back to you. My husband is finally recovered and we got a small cold out of the house so it got busy around here for a bit.
