Thank you for taking the time to post such a detailed and informative message regarding travelling to India! You mentioned that you don't fly through Bombay or Delhi. I am wondering what city you fly out of en route to the ashram? I am currently looking into purchasing an airline ticket but cannot seem to find any airlines that fly directly to Trivandrum. Dear Kristen, A very nice way to get to Trivandrum is from the west coast to Singapore on Air Singapore, then to Trivandrum on Silk Air. Guest guest Posted May 19, 2003 Report Share Posted May 19, 2003 All: Following my posting on the Airlines that fly into Trivandrum, I am finding that some of the airlines may not have any flights to this destination. For example, I did not find any flights for Delta or British Airways to TRV shown on their web sites. Swiss Air does list a flight. It seems that flying into Singapore, then Trivandrum may be the best option. I'm still not quite sure whether to go for August and September, returning when Amma heads to Europe - or to go from the end of Sept to March.
