Guest guest
Dear Yogaman - Yes, you can have darshan with Amma once a day during the retreat. No, you're not supposed to ask questions while receiving your darshan, but their is a separate question line in the mornings that a limited number of people can ask questions. You need to get there at least a half hour before the morning program (darshan) starts, and at the front left side of the temple there is someone taking names for the question line. You will need to stay up there and wait until you are told you can enter the question line, and even then it isn't guaranteed that she'll get to everyone. You'll also need to forgo darshan that day if you get to ask a question. But who needs more darshan than Amma answering a question! I expect there will be a large number for the retreat at San Ramon this time - probably about 2000 for the retreat, and probably 5000 for Devi Bhava. The numbers have been significantly larger all week so far. Blessings, Achintya <<- ABSOLUTELY!! I just cannot stop crying when I hear that and to think that I have been missing that all these years. Another question Achintya- during the retreat, I hear that you have darshan with Amma every day- is one allowed to ask questions during the darshan or is it like in the public programs everyone is just allowed a quickie hug(owing to the large number of people who attend)?? Also, do a large number(like several thousands??) of people show up for the San Ramon retreats?? Thank you so much and warm regards, yogaman>>
Guest guest
Namaskaram Achintya, Thank you much for that information. When you mentioned numbers like 2000 and 5000, I was mulling whether to go or not(more on the side of not going); then I went to the ammachi site generally browsing around, and guess what? on the homepage, there was a picture of me with amma(it is probably gone by now); i was a little taken aback at that; and then for a few moments while i was recovering from that, I decided to look at the properties of that particular picture, and guess what? it was created on my birthdate!!! hmm... coincidences/synchronicity.....anyhow i decided that i am going! Thank you once again and Aum Namasivaya yogaman Ammachi, "Connie Habash" <Connie@a...> wrote: > Dear Yogaman - > Yes, you can have darshan with Amma once a day during the retreat. > No, you're not supposed to ask questions while receiving your > darshan, but their is a separate question line in the mornings that a > limited number of people can ask questions.
