Dear Brothers and Sisters

 

I mentioned to all of you in a previous email that as an extra incentive,

Amma announced that there would be courses in the new IAM (Integrated

Amrita Meditation) Technique, for those people planning to attend the

Birthday Celebrations and come to Amritapuri early.

 

I have been working on the attached document for the last several days,

and all the details came from Swamiji and Mother herself, as i had the

opportunity to speak with Her yesterday about these meditation courses.

Please send this document to all the devotees in your area and please take

a copy to your satsang meetings and announce this exciting news.

 

Since this announcement was made, the Bday table has been flooded with

people interested in participating in these courses in Amritapuri...and

unfortunately at this point it is only available to those people coming for

the Bday at this time. I am sure it will be more widely available in the

rest of the world in the near future...so please tell those not coming to

the event to be patient.

 

I hope this encourages more people in your area to sign up to come for the

event.

You may be aware of the beautiful new gift of meditation, IAM TECHNIQUESM

(Integrated Amrita Meditation TechniqueSM) that Amma has bestowed upon us.

Born out of Amma¹s divine intuition, this meditation promises to lead all of

Amma¹s children to a deeper experience of faith, peace, and bliss.

 

 

The first training programs have already been held around the world. We

know that many of Amma¹s children have been eagerly awaiting to receive this

training since it was first announced last year.

 

 

For those of you who are planning to come to Amritapuri before the Embracing

the World: Amritavarsham 50 Celebrations, we wish to inform you of a

wonderful opportunity to participate in a training program for the I AM

TechniqueSM.

 

 

Guidelines for Participation

 

 

There are no strict rules and regulations to learn and practice the IAM

TECHNIQUESM. However practitioners must be committed to the practice and

fulfill certain basic requirements before they sign up for the course. To

ensure that you are eligible to attend the course, kindly read and

contemplate the following points:

 

 

1. Are you a devotee, follower, or disciple of Amma?

2. Have you received a mantra from Amma? If not, are you willing to receive

one from Her?

3. Do you consider Amma as your spiritual master or Guru? If not, are you

willing to accept Amma as your Guru?

4. It is absolutely necessary to keep the practice, its various steps, notes

and instructions secret. Under no circumstances should the originality of

the practice or its instructions be manipulated or changed. The instructions

and the practice should not be disclosed or taught to anyone except by a

certified IAM TECHNIQUESMinstructor. Are you willing to take a simple

pledge of confidentiality?

5. This meditation technique can be a powerful vehicle to reconnect us to

our real center within and thereby partake in the real joy and peace of

life. But unless it is practice daily one will not be able to experience the

full benefits of this sublime meditation. Will you be able to dedicate

15-20 minutes daily to practice the technique?

 

 

Dear brothers and sisters, if you think you can observe these simple rules,

please send us an email to av50iam expressing your intent to

participate. Please include your name, your Embracing the World:

Amritavarsham 50 registration number, and exact day of arrival in

Amritapuri. The exact dates of the course(s) have not been set, but we

request that you try to arrive in Amritapuri by September 10th. The

course(s) will be scheduled in order to meet the needs of the maximum number

of interested devotees, as far as possible. If the need arises, an

additional course may be scheduled to take place shortly after the

Celebrations.
