Guest guest
re: Brother John 108 or something like that: First I should say I wish people would just delete irrelevant parts of posts, because it was hell to read this thing! On my screen, the lines went out well beyond the screen's capacity, unlike anything I have even seen before. So, can we highlight the relevant portions and just post what we are commenting on, everyone? Your point about sending the names in seems correct, or at least it ought to be. I am contacting headquarters for clarification on it. You may be right. What I thought he said ...well, it was somewhat ambiguous, and in the context...what WAS the context? It is unsettling when you receive information which is contradictory and elusive. In any case, I think there will be a lot going on there, and should be a memorable part of one's life. I am concerned that the IAM technique is not going to be taught during the four days? Is this correct? If so, it's disappointing, as one would like to think it would be a substantial part of what would be going on there. I hear it would be in the following days. Who knows at this point? It must be a great thing because Amma knows how difficult this short stint will be on Westerners, financially as well as strategically and logistically. I am hoping that I will deepend my relationship, as someone said, even though I doubt I would be among the attendees. So, thanks for posting. Ramakrishna was encouraging as many of Amma's children who can and have the desire to attend. He said if it is a matter of finances, we will pass this sheet of paper around, you can put your name on it, and he will present it to Amma so she could make a sankalpa. There was another sheet passed around for various other reasons...I can't remember what...I think if you can't get time off from work, etc. That was the only purpose behind taking names...it's nothing to be suspicious about. It's got nothing to do with feeling guilty for not going, etc. He also mentioned that there were some generous people who were giving (or lending)money for people who were having trouble paying for the trip, and they would have a year to pay this money back was my understanding. Guest guest
Does anyone know exactly to which email address one can write in order to have one's name presented to Amma for sankalpa? Thank you Gabriela He said if > it is a matter of finances, we will pass this sheet > of paper around, > you can put your name on it, and he will present it > to Amma so she > could make a sankalpa.
