Guest guest
In New York, I almost ran over Amma, again. The other time was in the airport at Ann Arbor last year when she disappeared and reappeared directly in front of me. Anyway, I was helping Prema decorate the stage area for the program. We finished the decoration and I was to then move the little table that holds all the kisses and petals and apples next to the chair after Amma finished her meditation. Well, Amma finished and the chair was moved into place and then I grabbed the table and followed the chair and placed the table next to it on the stage. Then I was asking someone who had moved the chair if the table was in the right place, and then, oops, I took too long and Amma had swooped down from the uppper stage onto the floor toward her chair and ended up directly behind me. Prema was whispering very loudly, "Supriti, Amma!!!, Supriti AMMA!!!." I was like, WHAT???...then I heard someone say "SUPRITI, DON"T MOVE!!!"...luckily I heard that and didn't move. Otherwise I would have backed up right over Amma, I think. I was facing away from her so I couldn't see where she was. I stood still for a moment while she passed, and then I got the heck out of there, very red faced and flustered. Then the most incredible thing happened, as I moved away from the stage area and recovering from my encounter of being so close to Amma by accident, I had the sensation of being empty inside, like I was an empty eggshell and my skin was holding in the sky, I saw the color blue inside of me like the sky, all my organs were gone, I felt light as a feather. The sensation only lasted for about 30 seconds, and what a lovely feeling it was. It was very blissful. My yoga teacher says that Amma activated my naval shakra center. Whatever, it felt sooooo good whatever it was. I rode in the New York subway and saw the Empire State Building (where King Kong climbed up in the movies) and Grand Central Station and Times Square (there they drop the ball on New Years Eve). I want to go back there sometime and see more. I didn't make it to the World Trade Center sight, I was about 7 miles away and didn't have time to go there. ===== Om Namashivaya - In Amma's service, Supriti Omenka Nnadi
