I want to sprout and grow Mother Tulasi but someone told me that this has to

be done during th months of May-June. Is this correct? Anyone here have

practical knowledge about growing Tulasi Devi?

HI I do not know if this with may-june has anny traditional or cermonial

value,

but as far as i know, and i live most of the time in sweden, one can sprout

and grow annytime.

I sprouted mine, and planted them, but as it is starting to get colder i moved

them inside,so i think you can do it annytime in the year:)

Dont push them to far under the soil, espesialy if it is not so hot

outsode, and not to close either if you do it in a pot, they will need space

later on when the grow:)¨good luck

Dear Amarthya,

Dianadevi, Diana banana,

thank you for making me smile and laugh with your posts. An over

serious person like me greatly appreciates someone with your mindset.

What does Amarthya mean?

I have no knowldge about Tulasi myself, but this is what

I found on the net about care of Tulasi, when I went looking:

"How to start a Tulasi seedling and care for Her in North America"

at:

http://www.vaisnava.net/growing.htm

Good luck.
