i think you are totally right but what to do? i got a

little better in terms of feeling devastated, but i

HAVE to let go when SHE's standing on that stage; i

cannot control myself. it's the aspect of HER BEAUTY,

HER LEAVING, HER LOVE, all that STUFF and more she's

bringing up in all of us. don't you think this whole

'emotionalism' is some sort of opening up and part of

the path? what do you experience inside when you get

that superdevimagiclook from the divine mother, our

beloved amma?

it's funny; i have a completely different frequency

with amma when she's in 'amma bhava'.

-Yes, definitely.

what do you experience inside when you get

-I feel her in my whole body, especially in my heart. Sometimes

I feel bursts of shakti coming from her and I feel it in my heart

area, but also in all of my energy body. I'll be honest with you,

I've felt very emotional at times when thinking of her beauty, not

her physical beauty, but beauty of being. I just don't feel that

emotional in her presence. For me, it's just a general raising of

my consciousness. But with other gurus, when I first started

surrendering to them, I was a total pool of tears, emotion, haha.

Like I said, it's not "bad", it's a healing, a cleansing to let go

emotionally.

-And I've also not been to a devi bhava :-) I just go for the darshan

during the day.

so you're saying you never experienced amma as devi?

(though she's devi anyway) what makes you stay away

from that?

yeah, i experienced those shakti flashes as well

inside of my heart and body, that happens sometimes

when i just sit or stand or do seva around amma.

though i am --this is strange-- sometimes not sure, if

my ego enforces that (sort of how can one NOT feel

those little electric shocks) or if this is a true

experience. you know what i mean? maybe it has

something to do with learning how to truly

differentiate spiritual experiences? it's like: why do

you cry? is it bhakti (tears for the guru) or is it

frustration (tears for your ego)? i don't know maybe

it's not important, but many of those questions arise

in my spiritual practice. and when i'm around amma.

altho questions tend to fade then. fade in. fade out.

what do you feel when you get darshan?

Not really sure, I get tired at these things after 4 or so hours of

it. I'm not a young man anymore, haha, tho I'm only 7 years older

than Amma. I don't feel resistance to her, not that I'm aware of

anyway. Maybe I'm overwhelmed after 4 hours, that's all I can take

and I need to go home. It's not just Amma, you know. There are a lot

of very high and expanded people there. I saw Bhagavan Das there last

year, he's very high. And Amma's swamis and other devotees who live

with her? Many of the people there have seen Amma before and other

gurus before, some for a long time, like myself, I saw my first guru

27 years ago, there's probably lots of older dharma bums like myself.

And they all contribute to the phonomena of shakti. It's like each

person has their aura, their consciousness field and in the darshan

hall, all of our energy fields are overlapping. That's quite a field

of consciousness to hang out in.

-It's a true experience. The ego can't accept it because the

ego isn't a true viewpoint. But your consciousness and body

awareness is true.

you know what i mean? maybe it has

> something to do with learning how to truly

> differentiate spiritual experiences?

-Don't interpreting them. Trust your consciousness, your

awareness.

it's like: why do

> you cry? is it bhakti (tears for the guru) or is it

-Part of it is having the heart center opened. Part of it is

releasing tension, pain in the heart, so to speak.

i don't know maybe

-I feel very expanded, energized, especially in my 3rd eye center and

my eye chakras. I find my attention resting in my eyes. I feel much

more telepathic, like I am touching everyone with my awareness. I

feel deep love in my heart center.

fair enough dharma bum don ;-) i think i can imagine

what you mean. i for my part could never stay away if

i'm physically close to devi/amma. even though it's

more important to feel her inside, but that's what i

have to do most time of the year! praying for her

grace, feeling ammas guidance from inside, her light.

.. .

i never understood how people could sleep in front of

amma at DB (even with their legs stretched at her! i

mean, how can they know what they don't know, but the

ability alone of falling asleep within such a charged

atmosphere is quiete something. on the other hand i do

understand if one gets really tired and one doesn't

want to miss anything but . . . yo)

as we all know: everybody has their own little or big

love story with our universal lovamma.

lokaha samstaha sukhino bhavantu.

jai ma!
