Guest guest
Ah, I get it! People aren't into form! "I'm not into form, man". Formlessness is where it's at, we are subtle, not gross, vibratory, not bodily, of the spirit, not the flesh. As Saint Francis exulted in Brother Sun, Sister Moon "what is flesh is flesh, what is spirit, spirit". And this forum must be about spirit because I looked thru people's profiles and could hardly find an email address, let alone a photo. I know people aren't ashamed of their faces, I've seen so many beautiful ones at darshans.
Guest guest
Namah Sivayah, Donji! I don't have access to a scanner, for one, unless I go to Kinko's and pay exorbitant fees. As I am very poor at this point in this lifetime, I would rather spend any extra change I have on Amma books! Also, I just think part of the charm of the internet is that you could be talking to your next door neighbor and not even know it! Sometimes when I'm on the bus I like to look around and imagine that somebody could be a devotee of Amma, maybe on this list even (Anyone here ride the bus in LA?)! I think it's the anonymity that makes people open up. Being sans car in LA makes it excruciatingly difficult to get to the satsangs here, and this forum keeps me connected and inspired (thank you all). I teach yoga and I read these messages every morning before going in to the first class of the day, and often our discussions find their way into my classes! It sure would be nice to sit in a room with you all and tell you how I love you stories and insights. Boy does it make me feel like I am on the right path! But maybe it's better this way. It is what it is, and if it's really important to somebody to see what I look like, I'll put a picture up. To me you all look like little Amma's!!! Jai Ma!
