Now THAT"S what I call a substantive answer! This is an art in itself: the art of caring for your petals. Your hat idea reminds me of the Urban Sombrero from the Seinfeld episode. Maybe we should call it the Hindu Sombrero. You remind me that She once bombarded me in the face with a wad of flowers from a distance no less. I had just been thinking deeply about her compassion and as I was feeling gratitude she bopped me. Coincidence, or good aim? Given the importance of these blessed petals, i do think it merits the spirited and analytic dialogue we have just enjoyed. You could imagine my chagrin when I noted the growth all over my petals, which I had kept in an open plastic bag, under a ceiling fan. I thought air would have gotten to it, but it was not sufficient. Outside I feared the wind would blow them away. So,now I can rest in peace that next year I will not lose my petals. I donated them to my outside yard, where I hope they will share their shaktihood freely! Avram
