Guest guest
Hi Khalid, I think Amma has definitely chosen you, and there must be something reciprocal that keeps you close.. you are no guest in Mother's house!! She loves & serves nondenominationally, and when you love in return, reflecting that beautiful light of your own divine self back to it's Source, you are indeed part of the family of devotees. The closer we are to God, the more the various traditions become moot, and I'm not slamming dogmas, they are worthy vessels to take us to the Shore, I'm just saying that the various traditions are like candy wrappers. My friend Marc is an Orthodox Lubbavitcher Jew and even though his teacher is a rabbi, he catches Ma on Her tours. My best friend practices santeria and relates to Amma as emanating the Orishas (Gods) Yemaja or Oya.. Devi Bhava is much like a Haitian vodun ceremony where the priestess is "possesed" by Ezilie or other manifestations of Devi. It's all good, and it's nice to rub shoulders with EVERYBODY. I believe Amma is all God Realized teachers and all GRTeachers are Amma, we're all following on the different Rainbow colors that blessed our eyes one day, and leading to the pot of Gold. This was all the "too much caffeine" way to say you're a brother, not a guest and I'm glad you're here. Are you Sufi? got some rhymes? "I sloughed off my self as a snake sloughs off its skin. Then I looked and saw that I AM HE" "I went from God to God, until they cried from me in me, "Oh Thou I !"" ~ Abu Yazid Al-Bistami In a message dated 8/13/03 8:09:57 AM Eastern Daylight Time, Ammachi writes: << Message: 7 Tue, 12 Aug 2003 15:37:04 -0400 "Khalid Hussain" <khalidhussain Re: Re: Remote darshan? Thank you, Diana. From what you've written, it seems she is trying to bring you up and out of selfish grasping for love and into loving acceptance. Same trip she's been putting me on this summer. I'm practicing in another tradition and consider myself a guest in her tradition. That is to say, I have not made a conscious commitment to her. Maybe she thinks differently . . .
