Guest guest
Namaste to all of my brothers and sisters... _/\_ When my husband and I saw Amma in Chicago this summer, She asked my husband if he had a job. He was completely shocked because he has been looking for work since December. She told him to be patient, and also that he should not worry. Since then, his incessant worry has subsided. It's as if Amma took the ability to worry right out of his head, and believe me, this would be no easy task! This morning, when I was driving to work, I felt as if Amma was there hugging me and smiling on me. I just felt very close to Her and could feel Her presence. Today was the first day in a long time (months) that I didn't wake up with a headache nor any body aches. I felt positive about my life's direction. This alone would have been blessing enough. I got to work and found an email from my mom waiting for me. She found a job at her company that is absolutely PERFECT for my husband. The hair on my arms stood up and chills ran through my body. Such a blessing that she found the job! She submitted him as their "top candidate". I am writing this email to ask for prayers for my husband regarding this job. I might burst from happiness if he does get it! Thank you all in advance. I don't normally ask others for prayers or the like, but I know that this would really help us (we are newlyweds and have had such a rough time of it since even before our wedding last December) in so many ways. With love, Always at Amma's feet, Padmakshi
Guest guest
Namah Shivaya dear Padmakshi Thank you for sharing your wonderful story with us. Will be happy to place you and your husband's name on our altar. What is your husband's name? Do let us know the outcome, by Amma's grace. Even though her birthday is coming up, she just keeps giving us all these blessings! May you continue to feel her grace flowing in your life. premarupa Aum Amriteshvaryai Namah

Guest guest
Erica, you may want to consider chanting LS as a ritual- this is one of the greatest mantra+prayer for spiritual and material progress. If you do this same place, same time(to the minute, and preferably before 6am), with incense, lamp, flower and food offering for 40 days, i will promise you that your life will greatly improve for the better. If you cannot do all the above at least chant same place, same time with physical cleanliness. My prayers are with you and your husband. Guest guest
Yes indeed LS is for Lalitha Sahasranama. And dont forget same place, same time(very important), if you miss the time on a day, u gotta start all over again for the 40 day round. Chances are that after a few days of faithfully doing this, you miss a day, AMMA herself will come to remind you of it on that day LOL. I also want to add that people going through tough times do very vigorous japa of the mantra that Amma gave- AMMA's own instructions were to chant the japa non-stop for a whole day(after a few hours it becomes subconscious so there will be no effort in chanting)- try it out for JUST A DAY and notice how wonderfully the day goes by. Another great authority Sri Sarada Devi, spouse of Ramakrishna has said that to get visible benefits from japa in a single day, the japa should be done 15,000 times a day, so there you go....
