Guest guest
Namaste I am sorry, perhaps I said that wrong. I was hoping someone could tell me why they had this mantra in front of the LS on yesterdays post (I think it was yesterday) and what mantra it is? Guest guest
Namaste Robin, >From my limited understanding, we say these mantras as salutations to the Gods/Goddesses before we start in on the LS itself. It is to acknowledge and give a 'seat' to all. I hope someone else with more knowledge can elaborate more! "I bow to Great Ganesha (remover of obstacles and always first to be invoked). I bow to Great Saraswati (granter of wisdom and the arts). I bow to Narayana (Vishnu the Preserver as Cosmic Dreamer on his Sea-serpent vehicle). II bow to Shiva the Destroyer of all that is not Divine. I bow again and again to Hanuman (strongest of the Devas, giver of devotion and good health)." -- Len/ Kalipadma ______________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
