Not an entirely human body

Dear Brianna and Snehalata,

Thanks for the great posts; very interesting to

read how Amma is working in your lives.

I did want to respond to Brianna's comment about

Amma's body being like ours.

One of the women who travels with Amma told me that

once in India, an Indian woman stood up (I think it

was on a sadhana day, when people can address their

concerns to Amma) and DEMANDED that Amma stop wearing

out her body by giving darshan. The woman said that

we'd rather have Amma with us than to have her wear

out that precious body, so She should just stop!

Amma's response was very interesting. She said

that this body of hers was not

entirely human; that even if it had been made of

gold and silver, it would have worn out already from

all the wear and tear. I can't remember if there

was anything else related, but the message was that

Amma's body is not entirely human. Verrrry

interesting!

So when I am wont to worry about Amma, I remember

this story.

In Her love,

Jyotsna
