Guest guest
Just want to point out that the quotes below are taken out of context in case anyone has joined this list after they were first posted. It was part of a very different discussion. I wouldn't want anyone to think someone on this list was responding specifically to the issue of radioactive sand when they said "losing responsiblity" or "struggling with questions". As an aside, I don't know that I would feel comfortable telling Amma something was in her interest. The prescribed satguru/disciple relationship seems to indicate that knowledge flows one way. Any thoughts? Guest guest
Namah Shivaya Gabriela, Fitting reply! Our sibling Mark is just playing like a child with the divine Amma by dictating or demanding stuff to/from her. Mark wants Amma to teach him magic tricks like pulling out a rabbit out of a hat and also wants her to attend online chat sessions for Q&A like J.Lo And Amma encourages all of us to awaken the child within. So such demands, even though childish, bring out our true nature, which is to love. As Swami Dayamrita once remarked, since the divine Mother has come to us as Guru, its a 2 in 1 deal. Amma as Guru and Amma as 'Amma' are definitely different personalities. Sometimes though, I find it difficult to see if she is playing with me as Mother or if she is teaching me valuable lessons as Guru. As an aside, maybe people who are forever in introspection mode should consider the path of Jnana Yoga (The Yoga of Knowledge), instead of other Yogas such as Bhakti Yoga (The Yoga of love and devotion), message board Yoga, rumor mongering Yoga etc.. It will be in her interest to do so. Dear markasme, How is it "in Amma's interest" to do so ? Would you happen to know what her "interests" are ? Curious minds want to know. -Girish
Guest guest
Unfortunately, he is not on the list anymore to respond. However I feel it's not right to ban him from the list for asking these kind of questions, so I request Kandar(Peter) to bring him back to the list. - "Girish" <girishv <Ammachi> Thursday, September 25, 2003 4:38 PM Re: Q & A with Ammachi > On Tue, 23 Sep 2003, markasme wrote: > > > After her birthday celebrations, I would like to ask her to join us > > on a regular Q & A on this newsgroup or another or on her own > > website where people from 191 countries around the world can access > > her answers.
