Guest guest
Namaste: Early this am I saw what appeared to be Native American Indians singing and drumming. I didnt get the sound only choppy vision. Amma was sitting on a chair with others watching the people on stage. Later I saw Amma singing throwing her arms into the air on stage with a gradation blue background. Swamis were on stage around her and a blonde haired approx 8-10 year old male child. The stage appears large, open and airy. The camera was panning the audience from time to time and you see lots of white. People appear to be sitting in rows and rows of chairs. It didnt look like people were on top of people everywhere...just rows and rows of chairs. Very organized. The isles were clear of people and it did not have a "mass crowded mob feel". (please excuse my loss for intelligent adjectives to describe). All of a sudden, I heard Ammas voice come into the room. For a few moments there was sound and Amma's live voice was in my home in Florida. What a thrill!! After that it became more choppy and I went to lie down and dream of being with her in India. Thank you everyone for putting together this webcast for us. In Loves Service malati
Guest guest
Can those of you who are watching the webcast please describe some of what you see... can you see the crowd? What is going on as far as the schedule? Is it like regualr darshan programs right now, or are there differences? Where in the stadium is Amma sitting... in the center or to one side? I'm dying for a mental image of the event, and until my roadrunner is hooked up I'm at your mercy for details! Gabriela
Guest guest
Namaste Gabriela, When I could see the webcast (it appears to be down now), I could see Amma sitting on the stage. The backdrop was blue with the "50" logo on it as well. The Swamis were around Her and She was giving a talk. I couldn't follow much because the webcast was choppy, but what I heard was great and uplifting. Then I heard some bhajans and Amma was in Her usual form! Beautifully swaying and really getting into the music. I noticed that She had on an over-the-ear mic, similar to ones that pop stars use! The crowd is HUGE! An absolute sea of people. Lots of white and ocre. I didn't see any darshan hugs going on, but I noticed that some children were up on stage with Amma. There are some photos of the events here: http://amritavarsham.org/ Blessings!
