Guest guest
Actually, Navaratri started on Sept. 26th this year. That's why the 5th is shown as Vijaya Dashmi. It does not matter what the dates are, I was more interested in mathematically equating the dates to the # of days. But anyway, I prefer to think it is still the 27th when it began. Because I like to think that Amma timed her birth such that her 50th birthday would begin with a bang throughout the world where She would be worshipped both by her devotees and by people who do not know Amma in her physical form but are worshipping the Divine Mother in the form of Durga Devi! So, either way, the festivities covered all people. sounds silly and romantic, but that's me! lol. Jai Ma!
