Guest guest
Namaste All, I thought I would say hi to everyone. It's been awhile sense I last wrote. I find it really hard to believe the topic of past conversations. I too am "straying" from my spiritual path. I am wondering if those post were meant for me or am I really not alone in this. (Often I feel most of you are well along your path, you have taught me so much) I have taken to heart these posts and feel Amma's gentle pull back to her side. Sometimes I just feel so lost when I am without her and I think to myself, how could I have ever left her side. What is wrong with me. But then there she is smiling there and waiting patiently for me to come back when I am ready. It brings me to tears. And then I realized she's been there the whole time, still guiding me, always. I wanted to share a dream with all of you, there was a post about a dream someone had and it reminded me of this one. I have carried this one for 7 or 8 years now. It was the beginning of my spiritual path and I had set up my first alter, even though I did not meditate on it yet. I was taking small steps. And during this time, I had my second spiritual dream. (My first was of Krishna when I had no idea who he was, until I saw a picture and screamed that I had a dream of him.) It was a major turning point in my life. The dream starts out with me among all kinds of races of people, Hindu, Christian, Pagan, Buddhists, etc. I am on a wooden boat and there is a top canopy to it and necklaces, bracelets, etc are hanging from it that are made from hemp. We are going down a river. And there is a woman dressed in a black robe. She is handing out the necklaces and bracelets etc.... We were all chanting our form of "Om" or "Amen" or whatever it is and as we are all saying this over and over again at the same time it comes together to make the same syllables. So that it is one sound and one sound only. We finally come to an island and we get off....I find her cutting up a fat cactus with thorns...and she swallows a piece...I ask her if it hurts to swallow...and she told me no..and she cut me a piece and I took a bite and I could ACTUALLY taste the cactus in my dream. When I swallowed it, it did not hurt. This is the end of my dream. I have thought long and hard over this dream for years and still ponder it's meaning. I feel that the woman in the dream is my higher self, and that the cactus was an offering. This dream is one of my most special memories. Words give it no justice. But it was very profound for me. I will always Cherish it. At, Mama's Feet, Robin The New with improved product search
Guest guest
AumAmriteswaryaiNamaha Robin Devi, This is exactly like a very poignant dream I've had 5 years ago & never forgotten where the difference is that I'm floating in space observing the earth and all her people chanting according to their spiritual traditions, then I saw spheres of light come into view and the chanting people of earth are joined by people in the spheres everything begins to ebb and flow and move in a circular motion and morph together into one light one sound. Guest guest
Namaste Diana, That is SO awesome. I wonder what your thoughts on the meaning of your dream are. I would think that our dreams are more of a vision than a dream. I would like to write more here but I am at work and need to get some things taken care of. Just not enought minutes in the day.
