Guest guest
Namaste to all, As I said earlier today, I do not think that I will be able to afford to go to the Michigan retreat, even though I am local. My husband is not authorized to work for any employer he chooses here in the US (he is from India); he is only authorized for certain job titles for now. He is having a very difficult time finding a job despite his education. I am working two jobs right now, trying to make ends meet. My friend suggested that I set up a Paypal account to accept donations from those willing to help me with the registration fee. I feel very strange about it, because I generally do not like asking for help. Whatever funds are donated towards my registration, I will someday (when we are financially on our feet) donate back to one of Amma's charities. I am also willing to trade rides during the retreat for any donations. (Of course, I am willing to give rides to those who have contacted me with no strings attached!!) Here is the link (copy and paste it into your browser): https://www.paypal.com/xclick/business=sugarandbrine% 40&item_name=Amma+retreat&item_number=1&no_note=1&tax=0&curre ncy_code=USD Please do not take any offense to this plea from Amma's child and do not feel ANY pressure. I am learning a big lesson here: sometimes, asking for help is okay. All my love, Forever at Amma's feet, Erica
Guest guest
My dear brothers and sisters, My humblest pranams to all of you, for you are living testaments to Amma's Divine Love. It certainly looks as though I will be going to the retreat. By Amma's grace and kind generosity...! So, thank you. From the bottom of this child's heart. I have tears in my eyes and my heart is overflowing with love...
