It¹s his translations of questions and answers at darshan, mostly in west since 1999. Example: Be Patient Because You Are a Patient Q. How does one get real help from a Satguru (True Master)? A. To receive help, first accept that you are a patient and be patient. Q. Amma, are You our doctor? A. No good doctor will walk around announcing, ³I am the best doctor. Come to me. I will cure you.² Even if a patient has the best doctor, unless the patienct has faith in him or her, the treatment may not be very effective. Irrespective of time and place, all surgeries that happen in life¹s operation theater are performed by God. You have seen how surgeons wear a mask while performing an operation. Nobody recognizes them at that time. But just behind the mask, it is the doctor. Likewise, just beneath the surface of all experiences in life is God¹s, or the Guru¹s, compassionate face.² In Amma¹s grace. p.
