Like house project feeding the poor is also the greatest service. I have the intension of starting an "Amrita Prasadam distribution project" in my native town in India(Davangere, Karnataka State). There is already an Amrita vidyalaya (amma's school) running wherein about 800 children are studying(from 1st - 4th standard). If I get some support from Amma's rich US chlidren, the prasdam can be distributed to the poor children in Amma's and nearby schools after prayers.( may be once in a month or week to start with) It cost about US $250 for 1000 school children to feed. What a great idea, I really hope with Mother's Grace, that you can get a prasadam distribition project going in your birthplace. Keep us posted on your progress. This project to sustain need atleast 12 devoted people from your side to pledge US$ 250 once in a year(US$20/month)so that it will go atleast once in a month without stop.
