Amma's Elegant Universe - dimensions

I think the dimensions are necessary to explain the

behaviors, appearances and disappearances of particles

during some tests... I don't know either, but I think

that's why dimensions are required for this theory.

They are other dimensions in space, however, not to be

confused with "parallel universes" and such.

I think I am confused. Could you please explain the difference between

dimensions and Parellel universes.... I think that is what I am confusing.
