House Project 11/10 update

Today's report:

By Mother's Grace, we have pledges for 1 home and more = $896!

$776 of $896 has been collected so far!

Note: We must wrap up the project in order to get a birthday card to

Amma at either the San Ramon or Michigan programs. 3 pledges are

pending..

Please let me know if you have mailed something and don't see it on

the list.. your check number and serial numbers for cash are your

Id's.. if you haven't contributed yet, please do not send me any

funds at this time. I will be mailing the collection to Bala this

week. If I receive any donations after that.. I will mail them back

By Mother's Grace, we have collected $816 for Amrita Kuteeram

There were 2 pledges pending, one for $50 and another for $30. I

have adjusted them out of our final total. Bala has been so gracious

as to offer to present our "gift" directly to Amma either in

Michigan or at San Ramon. Due to the time constrains necessary to

make this happen, we are closing the group project. I have uploaded

the Birhtday Card in 3 jpeg images to the "photos" section for

everyone to see(hope you all like it), and I have mailed the checks

to Bala.

So, can someone tell me exactly how to get to this

place? I've had problems in the past with

telling me I needed to be a member to view this

page, then telling me I couldn't join! Very

confusing!

There is an Amrita Kuteeram page at Amritapuri.org site that is a

slideshow. If you go there with an older computer and dial-up you

will not be able to access that page.. it freezes my computer & I

have to reboot every time.. could that be the problem Jyotsna?

I'm talking about the birthday card. Now I recall

what it tells me--first that I have to be a member,

then when I try to "join", it tells me I'm already

a member and can't join. (I'm assuming you put

the birthday card in photos somewhere.)

Jyotsna,

I had this problem once before. Try going to: and

seeing if Ammachi is listed there, under "My Groups". If it's not,

the moderator will have to kick you out and then you can rejoin, in

order for your membership to work out properly.

In the mean time, I'll email the photos directly to you.

Dear Jyotsna,

Try this link:

http://photos.Ammachi/lst

I am not sure if you have tried this already, but this link will

give you all the photos in the Ammachi e-group.

You will easily identify the 2 birhtday cards in there.

If it gives you the same problem as you had before, then do this:

1. Log out of mail

2. go to site and login using your login

name and passwords.

3. Click on Ammachi on the left side.

4. Click on the 'Photos' to see all photos in the e-group

Yea!!!! Thank you SO much Amarthya for collecting and

coordinating the funds! And Bala, thank you for

taking the card to Amma! I'm so excited to know that

we were so easily able to do this. Thank you all who

contributed, both financially and in prayers. Every

drop of energy helped and this house will be from all

of us on the list.

Dear Amarthya,

I received your packet today with all the checks and the sweet birthday card

for Mother.

I contacted Darshana at M.A center who is in charge for the donations. She told

me that i could give her all the checks in Michigan and also that i could give

Amma the card and copies of the checks.

So i plan to do this:

1) Give your envelope with all our checks to darshana for Amritakuteeram.

2) Take the Birthday Card and copies of all your checks( which Amarthya has

already mailed me two copies of all the checks) and offer them to AMMA .

Do you want me to give AMMA the copy of all the checks OR do you just want me

to include a small piece of paper with all your names on it?

In any case, I shall tell Her it is from Her .

Let me know ASAP . I leave for Michigan tomorrow.
