Ravi you are right, the eclipse is on the 23rd. Aa...rgh!! I envy

Learned last night as we drove back from Chicago that Solar eclipse was

yesterday just before 5 pm CST. Barely had time to get home and observe it.

My source said it's traditional to fast for 6 hours before the eclipse.

 

She also told me there is an aspect with Saturn (I think) that is not very

auspicious for marriage and that Thursday is a window in this aspect.

Therefore thousands of weddings are taking place in India that day.

 

Can anyone give us more information about this or are you in San Ramon, dear

Visvanatan?
