Guest guest
Just another quote from Talks By Swami Paramatmananda that answered a long term question of mine on how to surrender to the Guru/God. "Passivity is not devotion. That's not surrender. Surrender is dynamic, that is to do your duty, to do whatever is dharma in every situation, as an offering to God or Guru as a means to get the grace of God or Guru. And then, don't be disappointed whichever way it goes. If you succeed, it's o.k., it's God's will. If you fail, it's also God's will. Don't be overly happy, don't be overly sad about the results." Every weekend there is at least one and often two satsang events happening here. Its great. I've gotten very attached to them (even though I'm not supposed to be attached.. (smile) ).
