Guest guest
Ammachi's Lake Effect It is called a lake effect when stable images reflected in a lake start quivering as when round Ammachi we are assembling and find ourselves silent or crying or trembling s n shriver http://spot.acorn.net/fruitarian
Guest guest
> Ammachi's Lake Effect > We sure lucked out on the weather in during last weekend's retreat. It was Amma's grace that we had a REVERSE lake effect - causing sunshine and temperatures well into the 60s, rather than the usual Lake Effect of cold and sudden blizzards that are common in Great Lakes cities such as Detroit, Chicago and Buffalo. Actually I was hoping that it would snow. Amma would have loved it.. I remember how happy she was when we got some snow in Ann Arbor in 2000. I didn't meet many people from this group last weekend. But it was nice to re-connect with Kenna. And need I mention that some of the shakti drifted over to the "Big House" (University of Michigan stadium) in Ann Arbor, where the Wolverines kicked some Buckeye butt!! Coming to Ann Arbor every year, I'm sure Amma understands that Michigan v. Ohio State in football is like India v. Pakistan in cricket! This did indeed seem to be Amma's grace because it allowed many easy driving. As we drove back to WI from Chicago, it was pouring for part of the trip and we were so grateful it was rain and not snow. It was good to see you, Keval. Sorry I was so busy with seva I couldn't visit much. Jai Ma!!!! p.
