Guest guest
Shenalata - I must learn to remember names - I hope that is your name - anyway to the daughter who talked about the transformation vision of people to grasshoppers - what a wonderful gift that was. My perception is that you were seeing people this way as a way to detach from them in a material way and attach to them in a spiritual way. Just a thought. Please don't link your sanity to any vision or experience because they are just passing lessons for you sent from a loving Mother... I was listening to a report on world AIDS day and one commentator was saying how people in the west don't perceive the children in Africa as real and just like children here in the west. The gist being we would care more and help them more with the AIDS pandemic if we would do that. Also, at Amma's birthday party in India, there were so many people, and just think that Amma lets each one know they are special to her and that she cares about each one of them. She really does, too. Om Namashivaya - In Amma's service, Supriti Omenka Nnadi Free Pop-Up Blocker - Get it now

You make such a good point here. A perfect segue into my heartfelt hope that we can begin to address issues of perceived differences, including race, gender, culture and privilege on this list, by Amma's grace. > Also, at Amma's birthday party in India, there were so many people, and just > think that Amma lets each one know they are special to her and that she cares > about each one of them. She really does, too. And she wants us to also. But first we're going to have to become conscious and surrender to our hidden biases.
