Mt. Pleasant motels

Namaste Ramlal and all,

 

I just psoted but forgot to ask: I booked a room at the Mt. Pleasant Super 8

for my trip to be with Amma this summer. Is the motel a fairly nice one? I

stayed in Fairfield last year but would like to be closer.

Hi Snehalata,

 

I stayed at the Super 8 last year, and it was

passable. I was at first apprehensive about what

appeared to be "pry marks" on my door, but there

were no problems, and the staff was helpful. I

left an item there and they mailed it to me

after I called and inquired about it. Truthfully

I may upgrade to the place just north of it, the

name of which I can't recall. I stayed at the

Heartland, just to the south of the Super 8 last

year, and decided I wanted a place where the

hallways (not just the rooms) were air-conditioned.

I'm from a cool climate, and if it turns off hot

in Iowa, I'm cooked. It was cooler there this

year--all we had to worry about were storms. Or

more correctly, all we didn't have to worry about:).

Amma's plane to Iowa was grounded for hours in

Chicago due to windstorms that day.
