Guest guest
Dear Sister Brianna Mosteller - blessings for being able to put into words your experiences with Amma. It is always emotional for me to hear other stories of Amma's grace and it is so hard sometimes to put into words, I appreciate your sharing with us I have discovered that Devi Bhava flowers work wonderfully with decopage (spelling?) artwork - and would kindly ask that any who wishes would save me pressed flower petals from Devi Bhava's...after they are pressed and dry, they travel nicely in plastic disposable containers (gladware) - if anyone wants to try that, it works especially nicely on glass or plexiglass - mandalas with flowers are especially powerful. Also I made a heart recently with rose petals (the color of blood when dried) and the heart appears to beat palpably - Amma's grace. Am answering on list because others may be interested. Sounds like you enjoyed Whale Rider as much as this daughter did. Have seen it several times and never get tired of it. Have been laminating petals and leaves for nice effect also. Can put on colored paper. Also, can soak petals in glycerin and they'll retain color. 1 part glyc. to 2 parts water. Soak in a flat pan couple of days. Not sure how this works for laminating as haven't tried it yet, but it's a popular way to preserve colors of leaves and petals.
