Guest guest
My co-coordinators and I were at the Manhattan Center, getting ready for Amma's summer visit to NYC. I was so engrossed in my preparations that it almost took me by surprise when She arrived (I have had so many dreams that begin like this!)! But I did manage to get to the entrance to greet Her as She approached. She actually sat down right next to me, on the ground, and turned to face me. She sharply exclaimed, "these religions, with their intolerance and their inflexibility!" -- and then Her face opened up into a broad, playful grin, and She started making delightfully silly faces at me! =) Love, Iswari
Guest guest
Hi D, Have you recently cut out parts of your spiritual self? Do you have some kind of boundary you can not get past? Or are you protecting your individuality in someway or some aspect of the self? The man in your dream might have been your Higher Self, your inner guidance, or God Self feeling frustrated because he couldn't get through to you, feeling "mentally unstable" or weak. A lack of growth. Neglected in someway. Things are perhaps a bit cloudy in waking life or in some area of life? Are you opening another "can of worms"? Do you have an awkward situation that your trying to worm your way out of? Could your Higher Self be telling you that this lesson is as plan as the nose on your face? Or is it pointing you in a direction? Are you looking the other way at your problem? You seemed to at one point accumulate a lot of spiritual growth, did you pull the plug? Did you cut off growth? Let it die? Or are you "rooting" out your problem? Does something have you stumped? I see some aspect of you has been disposed of. Neglected. And your Higher Self no longer has the spiritual love it needs to grow. Whatever the situation, bring yourself back to the center within. Cultivate. Thrive. Love. Plant another tree. Prune, nurture, feed and water it for healthier growth and strong roots and connect with the spiritual source of love. Amma. Hope this helps in some small way At Amma's Lotus Feet, Robin D <dises05 wrote: I had two very bizarre dreams recently, and if any one has any insight let me know. The most recent I remember was last night I dreamed of snakes being cut into pieces evenly, and the pieces of them I could feel hitting my skin. I do not remember if I saw the actual blade cutting them or if they were being cut into pieces by themself, but I saw snakes being cut into many pieces and could feel the pieces hitting my skin. I had watched no movies to cause this or anything snake-related. Another dream was I was in a field with a man who I felt like was a teacher, a school teacher maybe but just sensed teacher or scientist or something. I felt sorry for him for some reason or felt like he was mentally unstable. It was night time and I could see this swamp field in third and first person, I would go into third person and see myself standing with the man then into first person and see through my own eyes. This swamp field was like one huge organic mass in shallow water, one huge plant. Well my vision switched to third person, and I could see the man bending down into the water and eating or taking these small worms in the water into his nose. I saw this circular area in the swampy field and I went over to it, and pulled out what I felt to be was the "root" of the organic mass, this round stump. Well as I pulled it out as if it were a drain-stop, the water and plant began to drain down in a circular fashion like a whirlpool into the ground. I remember the man seeming slightly angry and saying that I had killed his plant (he was calling the organic mass a tree I believe) and that he no longer had what he needed. Any insight into the first or second dream? I know I should search my own intuition, but I felt like asking especially about the snake dream as that seems to be specific symbology.
