Guest guest
www.amriapuri.org Experiences There Are Problems Only Amma Can Solve! Thursday 12 February 2004 – Kannur Former Kerala State BJP President C.K. Padmanabhan came for Amma's darshan in Kannur. This high-ranking politician of the Bharathiya Janatha Party (BJP)—currently the ruling party at the national level— is strong in his views about Amma. "Politicians are of influence on the public in some way, and they see certain problems in the world and actually think they can solve them. But it is really the politicians themselves who are the problem! And only Amma can solve that problem. In their minds, there is a constant fight between the deva 's and the asura 's—the good and the bad. That is the real problem! Only Amma can solve that!" "In India, there has always been the understanding that God- realisation can be achieved by spiritual practice. No formal education for that is needed. So even if Amma has only a few years of formal education, that does not matter." "My first experience with Amma was more than 10 years ago, but at that time I did not feel a strong attraction. Over the years, it has come. I am a man who naturally questions everything, and today I had a very strong experience. The last time I met Amma was in the Ashram in Nerul, near Bombay, two years ago. Today, the first thing She said to me was, "My son, I met you two years ago in Bombay." Sometimes I don't even remember the people I've met yesterday. But Amma knew! Yet She's must have met over two-million people since then." --- Dear Snehalata, Amma remembers you and the mantra and the name She gave you; that is for sure. Yes there are many of us, and we all want,( or most of us), our Mother to remember us, and want Her special attention. I have had experiences of being selfish about this, and also fearful that I am not special and that Amma won't remember me. But, from my own experiences and observations; Amma remembers and knows all of us now , and also from our lifetimes before. For me, She is the Divine Energy.............Divine Mother ....... Divine Shakti, that creates and sustains us. In Amma, Sara J. > 2: Do you think physical proximity is a big issue? I worry sometimes that Mother seems so far away and I don't feel that the energy between us is always as strong as it was when I was in Her presence last summer. Sometimes the longing for Her is almost overwhelming - and so is the fear. I know it's incredibly sill,y but somedays I wonder if She knows who I am. Does She remember the name and mantra She gave me? There are so many of us...or does it even matter? Sometimes I want desperately to know, for sure, that the place I hold in Her heart is as special as the one She has in mine...and then feel selfish and ridiculous for even wondering. > > Lost and needing to be found, > Snehalata
