Nama Shivaya, Kenna's Mac is immune to bagles & beagles

Nama Shivaya!

This is an all-Mac household. Worm-free!

But not all messages from kenna's address are safe, because there is an

infected computer(s) out there (a PC, not a Mac!) that has her in its

address book. Another characteristic of these worms is that they send

messages "from" anyone in the local address book. That is, they fake the

return address.

Judgement is required. If the subject line is obviously spam, like "Notify

about using email account", don't open it.

A subject line beginning with Nama Shivaya is probably safe because, though

beagles may be clever, they don't speak sanskrit! (at least not yet...)

Om Amriteshwaryai Namaha,

murari

(kenna's geekier husband)

p.s.
