Guest guest
Good morning dear ones, Does anyone know the words to "Ya Devi Sarvabuteshu?" We sang it on the last day of San Ramon I AM course, it's in the white notebooks at the ashram, but apparently there is no recording. Is it in one of the bhajan supplements? It was so beautiful, I just cried and cried. It goes on listing all of these attributes of Mother, just lovely. Woke up with it in my head. Om Mataji Namaha Brianna Finance Tax Center - File online. Guest guest
Dear Brianna, That chant is from the Devi Mahatmyam (aka Chandi, also aka Durga Saptasati). Here is a link that has the chant (may not be complete, but seems to be pretty much so). http://www.eaisai.com/baba/docs/sldevi.html. (got from searching the Internet - Google!) In this link, page down to where it says "Devi Stuthi". The Durga devi chants are awesome! Jai Ma! Guest guest
Dear Brianna, The Devi Mahatmyam is very beautiful! I believe, also, that Krishna Das has made a recording of this (at least in part). See this link: http://www.krishnadas.com/pilgrim/docs/pilgrim10.html If you've never explored his kirtan CDs, please do! His love and devotion come flowing through the speakers and flutter directly to your heart. Such a gift! Otherwise the page will look like scrambled gibberish http://webhome.idirect.com/~aum108/sanskrit.html I've never heard it sung by Amma, or by any of the swamis. It's on the tape "Jai Ma Kirtan" available from the Sri Ram Foundation http://www.sriramfoundation.org/%20SriRamCatalog.pdf Keval Finance Tax Center - File online.
