( had troubles not long ago with bulk emails going out---seemingly from "management"---trying to get people to open up and look at attachments.) I just noticed that kenna's email domain starts with a "m" and not a "y" so she's not using a account in posting here. Kenna, maybe you could get a email account for your groups? It's free and takes only a couple of minutes to get one. Leave this group for a few minutes (i.e. unsubcribe) and then come back shortly later as a new member (using your new email account). How does that sound? I don't think we understand why you keep getting these email warnings, but this might put a stop to them. > > Ammachi, kenna@m... wrote: > > Dear user, the management of .com mailing system wants > to let you know that, > > > > Our main mailing server will be temporary unavaible for next > two days, > > to continue receiving mail in these days you have to configure > our free > > auto-forwarding service. > > > > For details see the attach. > > > > In order to read the attach you have to use the following password: > 11807. > > > > Kind regards, > > The .com team > http://www. > > > > > >

Guest guest
Dear All, IGNORE ALL OF THE EMAILS that are seemingly coming from Kenna. They are BOGUS and caused by a VIRUS. It is someone else on this list who has both KENNA's email and THIS GROUP's email in his/her own address book who is sending out these emails. I implore everyone to check THEIR OWN computers for any and all viruses. It is very important. In my opinion, Kenna should not have to try and manage another email account just for the convenience of others in this group. If it is bothering and confusing everyone that much, maybe Kenna's email address can be moderated until the problem is fixed. This way, the moderators can delete all bogus emails and allow all of her excellent contributions to be posted. My $ .02! Guest guest
Hari OM! OM Amriteswariye Namaha! Dear Erica, Yes I understand that it is not Kenna's fault, but since it is showing that it comes from her email, if she s from her present email and through the , will block these emails if at all it comes from someother source we never misses Kenna also, all this bugging email is gone also, and moderators does not have much work. Hope you understand it in the right sense. Please use my full name as Krishna Prasad not the abbreviation.Because each name has got some meaning implied in that, and also please do not think this is because of my little ego it is not. Thanks in advance for that. With Love & OM! Krishna Prasad Ammachi, "Erica" <sugarandbrine> wrote: > Dear KP, > > It is not Kenna's fault. Guest guest
Dear Erica, I'm hoping to learn something by asking this question: How is it possible to actually discern whether the e-mail is coming from Kenna's computer or from someone else's computer? Also, if it is possible to know that it is coming from someone's else's computer, why is it not possible to further identify the source? Thank you for your help! I appreciate any willingness to illumine my technical ignorance! In Amma's love, Amala --- Erica <sugarandbrine wrote: > Dear All, > > IGNORE ALL OF THE EMAILS that are seemingly coming > from Kenna. Guest guest
Sir, I understand what you are saying, but it is up to the moderators to decide...not you or me. And what I am saying may not be "more fairer" to you, since you will have to "put up" with the emails, but it is more fair to Kenna. I am a moderator of another (larger) email group, and I have to attend to my moderating duties daily. If the emails bug, that is not Kenna's fault. The emails do not bug me because I choose to ignore them. I just click "next" and it floats right on by... Respectfully, Erica Ammachi, "Krishna Prasad" <rkrishp99> wrote: > Hari OM! Guest guest
Dear Amala, I know that it's not coming from Kenna, because Kenna has a Mac computer. So, it is coming from someone else's computer (though, I do not know who -- it HAS to be someone who has the group email address stored AND Kenna's email address too), being sent very sneakily by the W32.Beagle.J@mm virus. You can read about it here: http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/beagle.asp http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.beagle.j@ mm.html http://www.sysadmin.it/pages/virus/virus.asp?ID=678 There are reports of the virus appearing to be sent from Groups itself, or ISPs, AOL, etc. It is not just this group that has been effected. I suggest everyone update their virus protection and scan their systems for this bug. If you have Kazaa or iMesh on your system, this is extra important! Guest guest
Hari OM! OM Amriteswariye Namaha! Dear Erica, Whatever you have written is true, but in my view, the best solution is Kenna can create an account in , rather than everybody checking their computer with anti virus, because it may not be practical, lot of poeple who are extremely busy may not see this emails, and they may come once in a month or even once in two months or so. Just an example here If the road is full of glass pieces, It is better to wear a good sole shoes rather than trying to remove all the glass pieces from the road, if we need to walk, is it not? Then, defintiely will pray for your husband, Let Amma make him recover as soon as possible. May GOD Bless You With Love & OM! OM Nama Shivaya! OM Amriteswariey Namaha!
