Guest guest
Hi everyone, This Amma visit has been startlingly different for me. Since Amma was coming and staying so long in San Ramon, I declared the month of June "ritual time" for me. Ritual time for my ancestors meant a time of prayer and inspiration. Naturally I thought I'd be with Amma a great deal. Since about the second time I saw Amma, however, she has been letting me know that hanging around Amma is not what I'm supposed to be doing. This time the diversions were even more farflung than seva halfway across the property. Continuing with this theme, tomorrow morning I fly from San Francisco to Toronto with some coworkers for a meeting of the scientific organization that administers the large cancer prevention research projects that I work on. It's still ritual time on my inner calendar. I'm looking forward to meeting Mike Brooker and also going to the Sunday satsang at Stephen Ginsburg's home. Of course, I've never been to Toronto and have no idea where anything is. I've been planted at the Sheraton Centre Toronto which I fear is a ghastly huge Yankee fortress. Maybe not, but... And I'm sure that the Sheraton will have a friendly person to educate me about the subway and so on. Anyway, is there anyone on the list, besides Mike, from Toronto, who might be going to the satsang at Steve's on Sunday. I'd love to travel there with an Amma sibling.
