Thanks, Krishna. Our group visited this temple when we were in

Kerala. As I recall, during Devi's mentrual periods, the temple is

closed. This Devi is very beloved by people of all castes. We have

wonderful pictures of devotees (including us!) in procession,

celebrating a local festival there. I hope some American lady will

politely ask Amma to ask about women, menstruation and

spirituality. This is something that takes up 40 years of women's

lives. Not only do they need to feel positive about such a long

term process, but also, if there is a temple to the goddess who

menstruates, we know there are positive things to know. Amma will

know how to share them.
