I wrote this really long email the other day and sent it...never got an error

message or anything, and never actually saw it posted either. :-( Let's give a

quick overview and see if THIS one posts. :-p

I jsut got back from seeing Amma for the first time. I had my first experience

in Danvers, MA during the public program. Amma's darshan was like coming home. I

was in the warmest, safest, happiest place I've ever been for the brief moments

that I was with her...oh don't I wish it could have gone on forever.

I was staying with my very best friend Dharmasilan for the week. I ended up not

being able to go to the retreat because I couldn't afford it...I was devastated,

I wanted to go so badly. Not only did I want to just be with Amma, but I really

really wanted to learn the IAM meditation. However, there WAS a plan. It just

happened that shortly after Dharmasilan left for the retreat on Thursday

morning, one of his dogs got very very sick. I was able to be there and take

care of the dogs and his house. It was rough, but knowing that it's where Amma

wanted me to be made it easier.

Saturday I got to go for Devi Bava. Wow. I cried when I saw her the first time

on Saturday...after having missed her for two days, it was like being blinded by

the sun. I had the MOST amazing darshan that night, and got my mantra from Amma.

I am so lucky. I was given a gift by Amma, not sure what it is or what it's

purpose is, so I'll have to figure that out, but right now it's on my altar.

Dharmasilan said he was so happy for me to have such a special darshan let alone

receive a gift from Mother.

I'm sad again thinking that it'll be so long until I get to see her again...but

I wait patiently because I know she's with me.

Thank you Dharmasilan for opening my eyes to Amma and to the beauty that

surrounds her. I love you so much, you're my angel.

Thank you Amma, Mother, for saving me. I'm finally home where I need to be.

Namah Shivaya...namaste,

Barry
