Guest guest
Namah Shivaya everyone, Last night during the MA Center's satsang, Br. Dayamrita relayed some of what Amma said to Amritapuri's residents on the day before yesterday. He said that although Amma wants us to live in the moment, She has asked the residents to increase their spiritual practices, such as archana & prayer. He said Amma is very serious. The reason relates to Her 2005 disaster prediction, since She said the dark time has now begun. She saw dark clouds, but said that God's grace could blow them away or make them into just a shower. To honor this request, the MA Center will chant the 1,000 names of the Divine Mother every Saturday at 5:00PM, up from every third Saturday. Since this Ammachi group's members live in various parts of the world, I'm hoping that you can pass this information along to your local satsang members. Perhaps your local satsangs would like to join the MA Center in chanting the 1,000 names more often. Did anyone hear what Amma reportedly said in Rhode Island this summer (not the handout on 2003) or what Her swami said in Seattle about the prediction? Second hand, I heard that a swami said the disaster's effects have already been reduced by spiritual practices & prayer, & to not be afraid, but to know that it will be hard. I also heard that Amma said let us hope that the hurricane will be just a breeze. I understand that when Amma agreed to Her Golden Jubilee celebration, it was for Her children to gather & pray for the mitigation of suffering caused by this disaster, but that She actually forsaw it 3 years prior to that time. Also, when questioned if we can do something to prepare for it, Amma reportedly laughed & said to live in the moment. Since this is all second hand information, I would really like to hear first hand accounts. This is an excellent incentive to increase our spiritual practices!!! Br. Dayamrita said that he had many personal accounts to share about the trip to Barcelona, but time didn't allow for it. Maybe he'll share them next Sat. He made points about being patient, not getting angry, gaging our spiritual progress during Amma's visits, a spiritual person wanting Amma instead of worldly things & to think about how Amma would respond in our situations. He also relayed how a group of 10 people in Canada who perviously couldn't quit smoking, quit by Amma's blessing! Would anyone be interested in notes from the MA Center's satsangs? If so, I could send them when I attend it, or maybe some other group members can do this. If anyone heard something different or more last night, please feel to add information. Love to all, Sweta

Guest guest
....I would so love notes from the satsang. This will also be good for me to take them. What does this mean up from every third saturday? >To honor this request, the MA Center will chant the 1,000 names of the Divine Mother every Saturday at 5:00PM, up from every third Saturday.< Previously, the MA Center's Saturday evening satsangs would begin at 6:00PM, except I think that every 3 weeks the 1,000 names were chanted at 5:00PM. Now, archana will be done as a group on every Saturday, not just every 3 Saturdays. You are most welcome. Love, Sweta Win 1 of 4,000 free domain names from Enter now.
