Om Namah Shivayah, Robinji!!

I remember very well when you came to the list,

Robinji. It was a little bit after I joined, I think.

You were very sweet and sincere and innocent in your

curiosity about Amma. I remember that you were going

through a lot with your kids and ex.

It has been very sweet getting to know you through

your questions, comments and insights. You weren't

always the most informed about Amma (neither were any

of us at the beginning, and I don't think we know much

about Her now, either!), but you have ALWAYS had great

intentions and lots of compassion. The goodness in you

is easy to spot and it's a testament to Ma's grace

that you continue to become more and more true to your

real nature.

I see you reaching out to your siblings here in the

same way that you were touched back then, so know that

the same love and light you were blessed with at that

time is shining in you and your words and actions and

attitude and willingness to grow.

Looking through the archives, you have observed your

own progress on the spiritual path (I'm a little

scared to do the same, was pompous clown with giant

crashing cymbals at that time!!LOL), and I thank our

Mother for swooping you up in Her arms (literally!).

In response to your other post, "Thoughts"; I have two

points to submit for pondering. 1) Re: your first

question of life as circle, what happens next, ect. I

keep coming back to this one myself, as I have

heard/read so many theories myself I am utterly

confused. Yogananda's Guruji, Sri Yukteswar reports

many wonderous things from the other side of physical

death post-moksha. I have heard that realized beings

get to chose to come back to serve mankind, or to do

other work in other lokas, and that some may elect to

merge forever into the Divine Consciousness.

Personally, I've come to believe (although I may

change this opinion) that what happens then is not for

us to worry about now, as thinking about the future is

a big distraction from the present. 2) When Amma

answered your question with "Amma longs for you to

become one with God"..... WOW!! Doesn't that just say

so much about it? In the whole universe there are only

the lover and the Beloved, both longing for eachother.

I think that God longs for us to wake up and realize

that you are THAT and THAT is you. Amma LONGS for you

to become one with HER, to realize that you and Her

are the same. That is why She bows to Her children. I

don't think that all life could be self-realized at

one time, given the nature of the universe (constant

creation/destruction). Remember, everytime Brahma

blinks a universe is created and destroyed, it is much

bigger than our tiny intellects can grasp, so why

think? We'll never understand. It is explained in all

the world's scriptures, yet for all our scholarly

research, the truth is staring at us and we still

can't see! LOL...

BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD

Krishna unveils all the glory of heaven in the Gita,

and still we can't see.

"Praised on all sides by the four vedas incarnate, It

(Devi) blazed like ten million suns, yet soothed like

ten million moons. Flashing like ten million streaks

of lightning tinged with red, that supreme lusterous

power shone forth unencompassed above, across and in

the middle. Without beginning or end, it had no body,

no hands, no other limbs, nor did it have a woman's

form, a man's form, nor the two combined. The dazzling

brilliance blinded the eyes of the gods, O King."

-The Devi

Gita

And She is here for us to see and touch and smell and

hold, and still we go on asking "where is it, what is

it, when will it come, how do I get there faster, what

should I do, who am I, how can I know You?" Silly us.

We are so BLESSED to have Amma.

Finally, She answered you (from within) "Let the inner

peace find you." So maybe it's like waiting for a

package from Mothersbooks.... Feels like it will never

come, but is definately on the way!

love and hugs,

Prajna
