Guest guest
There is a new movie which is having a limited run right now in selected cities. It will be out everywhere in the U.S. in September. It may hold one of the most important spiritual messages delivered to a mass audience in a very long time, even if it is not a new message. The one criticism that I have read/heard about the movie with which I agree is that the title is awful The movie concerns the loftiest topics, but the title would not lead you to expect that. The title is WHAT THE <BLEEP> DO WE KNOW? There is a scientist and his experiments that are a key element, a turning point, in the film. The scientist is Dr. Masuro Emoto. His experiments involved placing a paper label with words like "thank you" and "love" on beakers of water and then photographing the water after a time. I think the photos were taken the next day. He was able to show that even such written words changed the structure of the water. The photographs are beautiful and stunning. The story that ties the film together shows a young woman, a photographer in Portland, Oregon. She stops herself at one point as she is shouting at her reflection in the mirror saying, "I hate you." She remembers the water molecules and asks "What am I doing?" If a word on a paper label can change the structure of water--and we are 98% water, how much more can prayer repeated often do? I mention the film and Dr.Emoto's work in the light of the discussions here regarding Amma's warning about difficult times ahead and her request that everyone pray. Some people on the list may already have seen the movie. It has a website at http://www.whatthebleep.com You can see more about Dr. Masuro Emoto at http://www.masuro-emoto.net including seeing a beautiful photograph of a water drop. Guest guest
Aikya, Thank you so much for sending this! It will open in Austin on Sept. 10th -- I have the date marked on my calendar and can't wait to see it. Thank you also for these words: >If a word on a paper label can change the structure > of water--and we > are 98% water, how much more can prayer repeated > often do? Regarding 2005, I'm sure we will all have times when we feel afraid or overwhelmed. But I pray that as Amma's children, we may all unite in prayer, and have complete faith that our prayers are a mighty force for good. In Amma's love, Amala --- Aikya Param <aikya wrote: > There is a new movie which is having a limited run > right now in > selected cities. It will be out everywhere in the > U.S. in > September.
