Chanting the names...

Namah Shivaya, all....

I'm sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but... As far as chanting the

108 OR the 1000 names, are we supposed to memorize the chants??? That's a

seriously intimidating venture. I apologize for my 'newbie-ness'... :-P

You don't have to memorize them. If you say them often, especially

the 100 names, they accidentally slide into your long term memory.

Then, even if you are not conscious of having memorized them, if

someone starts, you find you can say the whole sest.
