Guest guest
Dear Friends, please excuse my typing. There is a problem with my right hand. The London program was a more calm affair than last year. The program was held in the large Crystal Palace sports hall. The second evening ,during bhajans, Amma called for and sang Iswari Tumi in Hebrew.I wondered why. The next day I found out that 15 people had come from Israel to attend the program. I gave Amma a white rose druing my darshan, asking Amma for more purity of mind. My mind often goes into a critical attitude towards others and their actions.....like why people in the household do not clean up after themselves more often, or put their dishes in the dishwasher, and in the correct way so I do not have to rearrange them, etc., etc. etc...(here I am not at all talking about Ása---now Vani having just got her new name from Amma---, but others who pass through our household; and these are small issues but they take a toll on my mind and body). Why can't I just accept situations and be more like Amma? Well, at Devi Bhava Amma wore a white sari, and I thought "Oh, maybe this is a message to me and I am really going to get help with my critical mindset problem." I am hopeful and waiting. >From : Ultimate Success, a new book by by Swami Ramakrishnananda. pages 71-72 : "...a devotee asked Amma," Don't you feel sad thinking about all of the hardships you have undergone in your life?" Amma replied, "No, because I am the one who wrote the play that I am enacting now." Premarupa, your son Vinay was smiling, working hard and happy....a joy to see. I will try to write more later. In Amma's Love, Sarama P.S. I have begun to sign my posts as Sarama so as to not be confused with anyone else, as Sara is a common name. Sarama is the name of the very kind Chrisitan lady at the Casino hotel in Cochin, in charge of housekeeping, who arranged for nice outfits to be made for me, so that I would be well dressed at AV 50. That is how the name Sarama popped into my head when I was searching for a distinct name for my identity. I am a bit too scared to ask Amma for a name, never knowing what she might hit me with. I wonder if they've got a Gaelic version of Ishwar Tumhi in the works for Amma's Dublin visit? Keval (waiting for Ishwar Tumhi in Klingon!)
