A request for help.

Dear ones,

 

I haven't been posting much lately, because I've had so much going on, but...

 

My husband and I have been and are still having a pretty rough time of things,

relating to

ongoing medical issues, as well as a devastating loss we suffered last year. We

both want

(and I feel like I really need) to go on retreat with Amma in

Michigan...especially since we

won't have another opportunity to be with Her until next July. However, we're

under

tremendous financial strain right now (we have to come up with hundreds of

dollars every

month in medical expenses, while getting by in NYC on one income and no student

loans

for me until next July, as I'm playing catch up with the work I wasn't able to

do last year,

because of everything that transpired, and how much it's taken for me to heal

from that).

 

This is deeply important to me. My connection with Amma has been the only thing

that's

given me real solace during the intense difficulties we've been through over the

past year

or two. At present, I'm just feeling so overwhelmed and fried from almost

perpetually

being under so much stress. I know that going to the retreat and having that

time with

Mother would help me immensely...but, given how tight things are for us this

year, I don't

see how we can afford it on our own right now.

 

So, although I hate asking, I would be most grateful for any degree of help that

you

might feel moved to provide toward covering the cost of the retreat fee/s and/or

airfare
