A miraculous photo [Orb photos and Amma's shakti?]

I don't have an experience with orbs, but I do have another experience of Amma's

shakti

and photographs that I would like to share. This is not something I've really

talked about

publicly (and I don't want to go into too much detail), but it was very

powerful. In my post

asking for help to get to the retreat, I made reference to a crushing loss that

my husband

and I suffered in the past year. After years of longing for children, you can

imagine our

delight when I found out that we were pregnant - with twins, no less! - last

year....and you

can imagine our devastation when we found out, upon ultrasound, that both had

died.

 

My husband and I felt moved to do something to remember them, on their due date.

At

midnight, we lit at 24-hour memorial candle, and offered some prayers. At noon

the next

day, when I had some time for myself, I chanted archana and some prayers of my

own,

and offered some flower petals to Amma, on their behalf, and for our healing.

While I was

spontaneously praying to Amma, I said something about the lights of these two

souls

flowing up to Her. Anyway...although the candles were "supposed" to last for

another 12

hours, they went out almost immediately after I finished the closing prayers.

Just before

the flames died, though, I took several photographs (from the same angle), just

to have for

a remembrance...and, suddenly, these two lights just soared upward, right to

Amma (only

visible in this one particular photograph, and not visible to the naked eye),

and just for a

moment, I saw my own face in Her image, gazing upon them. It was so beautiful!

 

I've (temporarily?) put this picture in the "Photo" section, under the title,

"Amma's Lights."
