Amma said "With love, there is no

distance."

Hi Michael, and this is also to Michelle, who asked about energies

appearing, and, of course, to the group. I am a newbie to the group, but not to

Amma,

though, due to physical illness and distance, it has been some years since I

have seen Her in person.

Whenever I get any type of bodywork done ~ massage, Reiki, going to the

doctors, etc. ~ I have a tendency to go out of my body, have flashbacks, etc.

Recently, during a Reiki session, my deceased grandmother came (as she usually

does) and kept tugging on my left toes, letting me know she was helping me stay

in my body. I also felt/"saw" Amma in Her white robes and headdress standing

right next to the table, on the right side, as close as She could get to me.

She also came to help with the healing and to keep me in my body. This was a

great gift. It is hard to describe feeling/"seeing" Mother's presence. I put

quotes around "seeing" because I am not seeing with my external eyes, but

with my inward eyes.

She stayed with me up until the point where the Reiki practitioner asked me

to turn over and put my head in one of those face things with the hole in it.

I should have said "no," because everytime I have done that, I have had

flashbacks and gone out of my body. But the session had gone so well up to that

point that I thought I would try it. As soon as I put my face in the hole, I

felt immense fear and immediately left my body. Even though the practitioner

had me turn back over, I did not come fully back to my body even by the end of

the session.

But my gratitude to Amma for being there with me, to help me stay in my body

as long as possible, and to be a STRONG, STEADY healing presence is immense.

I hope that I will be well enough to travel to Albuquerque this summer when

She comes to Santa Fe. I want to be held in Her arms again, to be in Her

direct presence, and to experience as much of the activities of the retreat as I

am able. Jai Ma ~ Linda (in Silver City, NM)
